Maui Brewing Company, Hawaii’s largest craft brewery, is celebrating its 20th anniversary this spring.

MBC Kihei will host an anniversary party on Thursday, February 6 from 5:00-8:00pm in the beer garden featuring specialty draft beer, delicious food, live music, and fun for the whole family. Enjoy live music by the Collection of Lone Souljahs, throwback grinds from the early days on the west side, giveaways, and more.

“I’m beyond proud of what we’ve all accomplished as a team. Thank you to all our partners and customers who have supported us over the years,” said Garrett Marrero, CEO and co-founder of Maui Brewing. “We’re looking forward to our 21st anniversary next year with new product launches, events, and more!”

Founded in 2005, Maui Brewing Co. has grown from a seven-barrel brewpub producing 320 barrels of beer in Kahana to the 26th largest craft brewery in the US in 2024. The company underwent several expansions over the years, including a newly constructed grid-independent production facility and restaurant in Kihei and restaurant locations in Ka’anapali, Waikiki, and Kailua.

Beyond craft beer, Maui Brewing also produces Maui Hard Seltzer, which has seen 26% growth in 2024 and Kupu Spirits, which includes bottled spirits and ready-to-drink canned cocktails. Their popular non-alcoholic Island Sodas and newly launched Maui Island Hard Tea will soon be distributed in California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Minnesota.

In late spring, Maui Brewing will continue to fill out its western footprint by adding distribution in Utah, offering Maui Hard Seltzer, Bikini Blonde Lager, Da Hawaii Life Lite Lager, non-alcoholic Root Beer and Ginger Beer, and other select beverages through General Distributing Co. and Golden Beverage Co.
