Beer Judge Certified Professionals Select Flagship Brews

Kihei, Hawaii (July 12, 2016) – Maui Brewing Company claimed awards at two prestigious beer competitions held recently on the mainland. The awards were given for beers entered at the 2016 Denver International Beer Competition and the 2016 U.S. Open Beer Championship. The competitions are judged by seasoned BJCP certified professional beer judges who make selections based on flavor, aroma, and appearance. Gold, Silver, or Bronze medals are awarded, and these are recognized around the world as symbols of brewing excellence.

Maui Brewing Company’s flagship and limited release beers have been recognized worldwide for quality and innovation over the years. These latest awards include:

Bikini Blonde Lager, entered in the Munich Helles Lager category, won a Gold Award at the U.S. Open Beer Championship and a Silver Award in Denver.
