Kihei, Hawaii (May 31, 2018) – On Friday, June 1 and Saturday, June 2, Maui Brewing Company will be one of 90 small and independent craft brewers represented at SAVOR: An American Craft Beer & Food Experience. SAVOR, now in its 11th year, is the premier beer and food pairing event in the US, serving up a selection of small bites perfectly paired with craft beer from independent breweries around the country.

Presented by the Brewers Association, SAVOR returns to the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C. this June with more breweries participating than ever before. A diverse range of over 180 different styles of craft beer will be featured each night.

Each brewery participating in SAVOR is represented in person, with each beer poured and presented by the visionary behind the brand. A mouth-watering selection of small plates to pair with the beer will be prepared by Chef Adam Dulye, Brewers Association executive chef and author of the newly released cookbook, The Beer Pantry.

“Savor is the ultimate food and beer experience,” describes Garrett Marrero, MBC’s Founder and CEO. “Chef Dulye and the team take a unique approach to pairing craft beer with delicious complementary food providing a memorable evening. I’m proud to represent Maui Brewing Company once again for this event.”

“At the country’s most prestigious beer pairing event, attendees have the chance to meet and mingle with the brewers behind America’s independent beer movement and indulge in craft beer pairings like no other. Hands down SAVOR is a world-class experience not to be missed,” said Julia Herz, craft beer program director for the Brewers Association.

During SAVOR, Maui Brewing Company’s Waimea Red Ale will be paired with pork loin tostada, while St. Damien, a robust Bourbon barrel-aged Belgian strong dark ale will be paired with brûlée pineapple and banana tapioca.
