Information Maui Brewing Company Collects and Tracks
Maui Brewing Company gathers two types of information about users:
Information that users provide through optional, voluntary submissions. These are voluntary submissions to ask questions or provide comments to the staff at Maui Brewing Company, sign up for newsletters, and/or authenticate to the website with third party identities (WooCommerce, Facebook).
Information gathered through aggregated tracking information derived mainly by tallying page views throughout our sites. This information allows us to better tailor our content to customers’ needs. Under no circumstances does Maui Brewing Company divulge any information about an individual user to a third party.
Consistent with the Federal Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), we will never knowingly request personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13 without requesting parental consent.
Usage Tracking and Use of Information
Maui Brewing Company tracks user traffic patterns throughout all of our sites. However, we do not correlate this information with data about individual users. Maui Brewing Company does break down overall usage statistics according to a user’s domain name, browser type, and MIME type by reading this information from the browser string (information contained in every user’s browser).
Maui Brewing Company sometimes tracks and catalogs the search terms that users enter in our Search function, but this tracking is never associated with individual users. We use tracking information to determine which areas of our sites users like and don’t like based on traffic to those areas. We do not track what individual users read, but rather how well each page performs overall. This helps us continue to build a better service for you.
Maui Brewing Company operates secure data networks protected by industry standard firewall and password protection systems. Our security and privacy policies are periodically reviewed and enhanced as necessary and only authorized individuals have access to the information provided by our customers.
ONLINE STORE FULFILLMENT
Returns and Exchanges
If you are not satisfied with the item you purchased, we are more than happy to help you return or exchange it within 10 business days of the original online order. We accept returns and exchanges only on unworn, undamaged, and unwashed items. If you have any questions as to whether or not your item can be returned, just ask!
In order to process a return, you will need to contact us first by emailing within 10 business days of your original purchase. In the email please include your name, order number, item you would like to return or exchange, and the reason for the return or exchange. We will then be able to walk you through the return process.
Refunds will be issued 5-10 business days after we receive the return in the mail. Please note that we do not pay for any shipping charges related to a standard item return or exchange, or item refunded.
This policy is for online orders only. If you purchased item(s) in store, please refer to the return policy for that location.
Broken or Damaged in Shipping
Upon receipt, please inspect your items. If an item is damaged from shipping, please email us within 2 days of receiving the shipment. Please keep all of the packaging and broken/damaged items until after you have received your replacement items. Without the packaging (including box and shipping label) and broken items, we will not be able to replace the damaged items. After you contact us, we will be able to walk through the replacement process with you.
Email us and include your name, order number, and the items that are broken/damaged. Please also include photos of the damaged items, the shipping container, and the shipping label with tracking number.
